Raped, Killed, and Raped Again

from Whence Cometh Evil? by Christgrinder

/

about

This song came out of a late night goregrind fueled conversation about why the taboo against necrophilia is so strong.

Clearly, the rape of a living person is a vile and inexcusable act, but while necrophilia is physically repulsive, in terms of actual harm caused it seems a lesser crime than sexually assaulting a living person.

Our supposition was that the taboo against necrophilia has its roots in the belief in an afterlife espoused by our ancestors, and in a modern context the suffering it may cause relatives of the deceased.
